Berries

Graminor is responsible for breeding new berry varieties for the Norwegian climate. In Norway we have a strong tradition of berry picking, both out in nature and in private gardens. In addition, we buy freshly picked berries in the grocery store and in products such as jam, lemonade and ice cream.
Strawberries and raspberries are the most widely grown species of berries in the Norwegian horticultural industry. Graminor breeds new varieties of both species. Graminors berry breeding is carried out by Njøs fruit- and berry centre in Leikanger, Norway on assignment from Graminor.
